Travel Visas for International Visitors

Visiting Canada

Every year, more than 5 million people visit Canada to enjoy the many opportunities our country has to offer. Bona Fide Conference Participants are permitted to enter Canada directly as visitors.

Citizens from some countries must have a valid passport and must obtain a Temporary Resident Visa prior to enter Canada. To find out if you require a Visa, please check the Citizenship & Immigration Canada website at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp

If you are from a country requiring a Visa to enter Canada, please ensure that you apply for a Visa prior to entering Canada, through a Canadian Visa Post. If you are uncertain as to visa requirements from your country, you are urged to check with the nearest Canadian Consulate/Embassy concerning the current regulations. Click here for a list of Visa offices. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

It is your responsibility, not that of the Conference Organizer, to obtain the necessary documentation for travel and entry to Canada. We are unable to send any additional letters or documents beyond a letter of invitation, provided to you in electronic pdf format.
