Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 4th International Conference on Greenhouse Gases and Animal Agriculture (GGAA2010). This world leading international conference will:
- summarize the current state of scientific knowledge of livestock greenhouse gases (GHG),
- propose new abatement strategies for the livestock sector, and
- advance knowledge of existing abatement strategies.
Background
Delegates: leading industry, government and university scientists from around the world who are conducing research on ways to reduce GHG from animal agriculture.
Key Objectives: advance the science of reducing GHG in livestock production; accelerate research in GHG abatement by bringing key players together; promote the exchange of the latest advancements; foster new ideas for innovative research; provide a sound scientific basis for both international and domestic policy development; enable new collaborations between and among public and private sector laboratories; increase the economic efficiency of GHG research and increase the use and application of GHG research by the private sector.

The GGAA conference has an established and successful track record, with previous conferences held in Japan (2001) with 200 delegates from 20 countries, Switzerland (2005) with 160 presentations from 30 countries, and New Zealand (2007) which hosted 232 delegates from 46 countries. Each conference produced a series of peer reviewed papers marking the advancement of the science. Papers from the 4th International GGAA Conference will be published in Animal Feed Science and Technology, a well recognised journal with an Impact Factor of 1.458 in the Agriculture, Dairy and Animal Sciences category.
